Inclement Weather Procedures - NCMCC
Dear Parents/Guardians:
This is to inform you that Nurturing Creative Minds Child Care Center will close on the same days as theSchool District of Philadelphia due to inclement weather or other citywide emergency. Nurturing Creative Minds Child Care Center may also opt to close our building independent of any decision made by the School District of Philadelphia.
Depending on the circumstances, School Administration will make a decision and communicate whether there will be a two hour delay, early dismissal, virtual snow day, or closed.
The school will send out a notice via the Brightwheel App.
Two Hour Delay:
NCM will open at 8:00am. Students will not be granted entry into any school building until 8:00 a.m.
Early Dismissals:
At any time due to inclement weather, we may have to dismiss the students early from the facility. If there is an emergency early dismissal, the Evening Care program will be CLOSED! IT Please make emergency backup plans for your child to ensure they get home safely.
Facility Closure - Snow Day:
If the facility is closed for any reason due to the reasons listed above, please check the Brightwheel App daily for any updates regarding two hour delays, closures for the next day.
